Are you looking for a fun activity with your dog
FUN + FITNESS + COMPETITION
Available to all Breeds from six months old
Classes - Private Lessons - Single or Group field hire is available
The two acre field is securely fenced and is surrounded by native Australian bush with its own walking trail. Boarding dogs can also be introduced to Agility while staying at Redgum with one hour lessons available from one of our professional trainers. Your dog/s will be exercised, have fun and learn new skills. We can email you a photo - just ask.
For the first few Agility lessons your dog should have a secure leather collar with metal buckle. Attach a small handle lead total length approx 25cm long including the snap hook (cut up an old lead). This will aid support over the higher obstacles and minimise any risk of injury until your dog is confident and experienced. No choker/check chains allowed. Handlers should wear comfortable loose fitting clothing and covered footwear for example running shoes.

Wall Climbing is becoming a popular dog sport overseas and in Australia. The Australian annual working dog muster record stands at 2.91mtrs set in 2007 by "Riley" a Kelpie bred by Clare O'Callaghan. Redgum now has it's own purpose built dog wall climbing structure. Heights can be adjusted by adding pine sleepers up to a height of over 4mtrs. A safety adjustable step off the platform is provided to minimise the risk of injury once a climb has been successful. If your dog is over twelve months and has a natural ability to climb, test him/her out. "Your dog could be Australia's next champion record holder".
Below - English world champion wall climber "Stag" a Greyhound/Deerhound cross set a new world record of 4mtrs in 1992.
Which as far as we can find still stands today.
